{Staying Put}

Hello there!

I've been wanting to blog, but just haven't for ages. I've been pretty rotten at it for the last year, maybe few years actually?

There really is no use in trying to catch up. That would take much too long. So I'll tell you my favorite news of the day...we bought a brand new couch and it arrived today!

I don't buy new. I know I can always get a deal and I like giving things a second chance, not to mention my pocket book has convinced me I can have a little bit more with it costing a little less as well.

Every single piece of furniture I have is second hand. Most of my clothes are as well, but I REALLY don't mind.

So WHY did I buy a brand new couch? Because my last couch (2nd, maybe 3rd, 4th or 5th generation hand-me-down) was horrible.

We had it for nearly a year and it was so bad that I stopped sitting downstairs. I would end up upstairs, in bed watching TV, reading and doing anything I could to avoid sitting on that uncomfortable thing.

I am blogging to you from the comfort of the new couch. Cinna is as well. We are both quite content with our new purchase.

I feel a bit spoiled. I also feel a little anxiety. I have seriously been sitting here worrying how my not-even-yet-conceived children are going to ruin it. I've even been worry about moving it someday....wait a minute...

THAT IS ANOTHER REASON I NEVER BOUGHT NEW FURNITURE---I MOVE TOO MUCH!

We are going to be here awhile and staying put. Mark my words!
